Hello from the London Centre for Book Arts.
Thank you for showing an interest in LCBA; we’re thrilled to have you along.
LCBA wil be the UK’s first open access resource centre for people interested in the production of artists’ books and printed matter. The space will provide workshops and classes for studio members and the local community, and access to hard-to-find equipment and facilities.

Get Involved!
We are currently looking for people to help us reach our goal of a grand opening this autumn. This could be anything from taking photos and spreading the word, to lending a hand moving machinery into our new space.
Hopefully this is going to be loads of fun for everyone involved; an experience that will lay the foundations for the LCBA community.
If you would like to volunteer pleaseemail me. In the coming months we are looking for people who can help with:
Moving into the new centre: cleaning, painting, moving equipment, etc.
Cataloguing and archiving our book arts reference library
Sorting and cataloguing our collection of letterpress type and equipment
Helping out with preparations for workshops and classes
No printing or book-making experience? No problem. We encourage everyone to get involved!
We can’t wait to hear from you.
